A special City Council meeting was held noon February 23, 1999 at City Hall.Mayor Spence Horsley presided with council members Larry Thomas, Sandra Hess, Ruth Zivkovic and Jared Crowther present. Also in attendence were Clerk Susan Wittman, Attorney Stevin Brooks and John Goodman.

The meeting was called to discuss the contract for sewer cleaning maintenance with John Goodman.

Clerk Susan Wittman reported that according to Idaho Code 50-341 that only 3 quotes are needed for purchases up to $25,000.00.

Ruth asked if the city would be better off to purchase the machine. It was said that the city should not complete with the private sector.

Sandra moved to accept Malad Plumbing Repair proposal of $10,560 a year for 4 years for sewer cleaning maintenance. Jared seconded the motion. The motion carried.

John thanked the council and he will get with Sid on where he would like to start.

Larry mentioned that he is getting feed back on the inter block development. Sandra and Jared have also gotten feed back.
