Easter Egg Hunt

April 

Kids from all over meet at various parks to hunt for candy eggs.  When they find golden eggs they can redeem them for one dollar. 10 a.m.  There is also an Easter Breakfast at the City Park.

Malad Classics Car Show

June 

 

Hot Rods, Customs, Classics and Restored automobiles from miles around.  Local merchants give sponsor's choice awards to the drivers of their favorite cars.  Games, Prizes, and Craft Booths make this a fun activity for the whole family.

Annual Bucking Bull futurity

June Free futurity

Buckin for Buck$ starts at

7:00p.m. $8 for adults, $5 kids Family pass is $20

6th Annual Buckin for Buck$ will be June 23rd. The futurity is for yearling and 2 yr. old bulls that are bucked with a dummy at 10 a.m. and is free to the public. The 3 yr. old derby and 4 yr. old classic will start at 7 p.m. Matching some of the best bull riders  against these bulls. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 kids ages 6-12, 5 and under are free. Family pass is $20. This year we are having a heifer sale, a team bullfight competition, and a Malad celebrity bull riding which will match a few of Malads most famous people against real bulls.  The 4th starts with the Cannonade waking you up in time for the Early Bird Breakfast at Search and Rescue Building.  Parade, followed by "The Wild West Shoot Out"  During the whole day there are softball games, craft booths, 4-H Auction, Live Entertainment, Malads got Talent, food and games for the Entire Family.  Then at dark Malad Sponsors a fantastic Fireworks Display.

Samaria Celebration

This event celebrates Samaria's history and heritage.  There is a parade, music, dances, baseball, a kids carnival, and old fashioned contests
