Kids from all over meet at various parks to hunt for candy
eggs. When they find golden eggs they can redeem them fro one
dollar. 10 a.m. |
| Classy Country Classics Car Show |

Hot Rods, Customs, Classics and Restored automobiles from
miles around. Local merchants give sponsor's choice awards to the
drivers of their favorite cars. Games, Prizes, and Craft Booths
make this a fun activity for the whole family. |

The 4th starts with the Cannonade
waking you up in time for the Early Bird Breakfast at Pioneer
Park. Then comes the Parade, followed by "The Wild
West Shoot Out" - a family favorite. During the whole day there
are softball games, Cow Pie Bingo, craft booths, Pit Bar-B Q- Beef
Lunch, 4-H Auction, Live Entertainment, and food and games for the
Entire Family. Then at dark Malad Sponsors a fantastic Fireworks
Display. The Malad Valley Theater Guild puts on several live
productions. |
| Osmonds 2nd Generation
Concert at the Park |
July 18 |
Live concert with the
Osmond Family. Dutch Oven Dinner served before the concert. Tickets
(dinner and concert) $50. Without dinner, tickets are $30, $20, and $10
(bring your own seating-lawn chairs for $10 seats). Limited seating and
dinner. Concert at Malad City Park. Dinner at 6 p.m. concert at 7

This event celebrates Samaria's history and
heritage. There is a parade, music, dances, baseball, a kids
carnival, and old fashioned contests |

Local residents decorate their homes for the holiday

As weather permits, Malad fills up it's ice skating
rink for everyone to enjoy. |

People decorate anything they can drive, push, or pull and
parade through the streets of Malad and end with a bonfire, food and
fireworks. |
| Fireman's Ball |

Held in the American Legion building, this celebration
honors Malad's volunteer firemen. Dance to live music,
socialize with friends and receive great door prizes. |
