Malad
High School History
| The Malad school system offers the highest quality of education available. This is attained through various grants, contributions by local businesses and residents, and through organizations such as the Oneida Education Foundation. The teachers of Malad Schools are highly qualified and dedicated to the students they teach. Being a small community offers many advantages to students. Teachers know each student by name and are able to offer one on one help. INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS The Oneida School district is host to many innovative programs. Children gain an advantage from day one through programs such as head start, and Accelerated Reading programs. Every student has access to computers and the Internet. Computer literacy is taught at the earliest stage possible. Malad High School is equipped with 6 computer labs, a distance learning center, a technical training lab, and a multimedia editing lab. |

| Through the distance
learning center students can take advanced level courses, gain college
credits, or take special courses not offered at MHS. The distance
learning facility is also uses by members of the community to further
enhance their skills.
Students who complete the technical training program gain skills and certification in several technical areas. Such certification includes: A+, Cisco CCNA, Novell CNA, Microsoft MCP. Real world experience is gained by each student as he or she meets each objective of the program. The labs are equipped with the latest hardware and software technologies.
