Library Card

You may get a free library card if you live within Oneida County. New residents must bring in a photo I.D. and proof of residences (i.e. phone bill, water bill, rent statement, etc.).  A temporary card will be issued for 90 days if patron does not have a current Idaho Driver's License. Only two items may be checked out at a time with a temporary card.  After the 90 days, resident must show proof of Idaho Driver's License.  Full library privileges will then be granted. Children must be over the age of 6 years old and be accompanied by a parent/guardian. You must show one form of I.D. and provide two references.  There will be a $1.00 fee to replace any lost or stolen card.

Material Collection

The library has many items for patrons to check out and enjoy. In addition to books we offer Videos, Books on Tape and much more.
  • Books -- 23,000 books (Books not found in the collection may be ordered through Interlibrary loan.)
    • Nonfiction -- a variety of nonfiction materials both in Juvenile and Adult areas
    • Fiction -- a wide variety of fiction including suspense, mystery, romance, western and many other genre
    • Accelerated Readers -- AR books used in the elementary school reading program are currently being marked  on the electronic card catalog for easy identification and access
  • Magazines -- 55 current Magazines & Newspapers
  • Media -- Videos, Compact Discs, and Audio Book Tapes
    • Videos -- Over 900 videos including informational, children's, series, family, and current popular titles are available.
    • Circuit Videos - Different titles that are shared among Southeastern Idaho's libraries arrive about every 6 weeks
    • Audio Books -- Over 300 titles of books on tapes from recent bestseller lists and popular authors. These titles include both fiction and nonfiction.
    • Circuit Audio Books -- Different titles that are shared among Southeastern Idaho's libraries arrive about every 6 weeks
    • Compact Music Discs -- Wide variety of Music CD's including popular, classical, oldies and other kinds of music.
